The clients fell in love with the granite tops- the perfect complement to their cherry cabinetry. The flooring is a wood-look ceramic tile, and the addition of an in-floor heat system ensures that the homeowners will never have to deal with cold floors underfoot.
New appliances increase the overall function of the space, including the microwave drawer from Sharp, and a double oven range. The wall cabinets are at varying depths to accommodate dishware of all different sizes. But the cabinets are secondary to the whole wall of windows, which we surrounded with a subtle gray subway tile, all the way to the ceiling.
